Home age?

Did you know that you can often establish the age homes by looking for clues?   Dates can often be found between the panes of thermal-pane glass, at the toilet lid (& inside the tank), at inspection tags (found at gas lines, furnace and main plumbing stack) and the Home Warranty sticker at the electrical panel cover plate.  If you look closely at stamps on visible plywood and OSB board, there’s quite often a date here as well.  Obviously, the dates found are not always on original fixtures.  Put them together with other data (i.e. the age of the neighborhood, the type of trim, plumbing, cupboards, door handles, etc.) and they can be very helpful.

Cheers
