Because we are all so unique, to create a positive feeling is different for each of us. Think about what brings that warmth to your heart. Here are some of Dr. Fredrickson's suggestions to help you "Create the mindset of positivity":

  • Be open! Don't worry about how things should be, accept then the way they are
  • Be Appreciative! Take the good and savour it
  • Be Curious! Seek out novelty-do something different and get out any rut you may be stuck in.
  • Be kind: make someone else's day better
  • Be real: Sincerity counts - be heartfelt and genuine in our interactions.
